I get asked quite a lot about the tunings and guitar chords that I use. We don’t have a book or regular tablature that we can make available but thought some of you might be able to take some basic stuff and run with it.

I don’t read any music and can only draw pictures for you.

If you have specific songs that you’d like chords for, leave a message on the message board and I’ll try to add them to this page.

Strings are named from fat to skinny (DGDGBD means the first D is the fat string.)

(Note, when I’m playing concerts, if I only have one guitar, I try to set my song list so that, between songs, I need only to change a string or two to move from one tuning to another, for example, I’ll do "open windows" in DGDGBD and then do "’sunday driver" in CGDGBD. )
