Few are the days for me when i'm not consumed with things past and
future. On the occasional rare day though, I get it right and enjoy the
moment right in front of me.
Rare the Day
Passed the day in a quiet way, a string of simple hours
Children there in the open air, a field of april flowers
rare the day i think not of my past or future dreams
rare the day i would not change a thing
Did not think of where i'd rather be, thought not of tomorrow
days gone by were really gone, with all their joys and sorrows
rare the day i think not of my past or future dreams
rare the day i would not change a thing
the present moment's all we've got, but it's oh so seldom seen
but today's a day i would not change a thing
a necklace made of flowers
